Terms of Service
Last updated: May 15, 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account on Health Matters or signing in to one a provider has created for you, you agree to these terms.
2. Not a substitute for medical advice
Health Matters is a communication and recordkeeping platform. The information shown in the app — including AI-generated summaries — is not a substitute for the professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment of a qualified provider.
If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 (US) or your local emergency number immediately.
3. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secret. Notify us immediately at support@healthmatters.health if you suspect your account has been compromised.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use the platform to transmit anything illegal or harmful.
- Don't attempt to access accounts or data that aren't yours.
- Don't reverse-engineer the service or interfere with its operation.
5. Provider responsibilities
Healthcare providers using Health Matters are responsible for the clinical accuracy of records they add and for complying with the professional and regulatory standards of their jurisdiction.
6. Service availability
We aim for high availability but provide the service "as is." Planned maintenance is announced in advance whenever possible.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and (where applicable) the country where the provider's practice is registered.
